Effective: September 23, 2026
RCL respects copyright and may remove or disable access to material when it receives a valid notice of claimed infringement.
A notice should identify the copyrighted work, identify and locate the allegedly infringing material, provide the complaining party’s contact information and signature, state a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and state that the notice is accurate and that the sender is authorized to act for the rightsholder, under penalty of perjury.
A user whose material was removed may submit a legally sufficient counter-notification. When required by 17 U.S.C. §512, RCL may restore material after the statutory waiting period unless the claimant gives notice of a filed court action.
RCL maintains a policy to terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
Registration pending. Before relying on the DMCA §512(c) hosting safe harbor, RCL must publish the designated agent’s current name/department, mailing address, telephone number and email here and register the same agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. Do not send a formal DMCA notice until this section is replaced with the registered agent details; use RCL’s published contact channel for general copyright concerns in the meantime.
