This policy explains how RCL handles information across league services and RCL Social.
Depending on your use, this may include account and contact information; profile identity and basketball information; date-of-birth/age information; posts, comments, stories, communities and uploaded media; messages and social connections; reports and moderation records; league registrations and participation records; fantasy activity; notifications and preferences; and technical, security and usage information needed to operate the service.
We use information to authenticate accounts; operate league and social features; publish information you choose to make public; deliver messages and notifications; administer games, statistics and fantasy features; provide safety and moderation; prevent abuse; comply with law; troubleshoot; secure and improve the platform.
Public profiles, posts, comments, public communities and other public contributions can be viewed by others. Private messages and restricted communities are intended only for authorized participants, subject to safety, legal and platform-administration requirements.
Age-screening information is used for age determination and age-appropriate experiences. RCL limits collection to what is reasonably needed and does not use age-verification information for unrelated advertising or profiling.
RCL may use hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, security and other processors to operate the service. We do not authorize providers to use RCL data for purposes unrelated to providing their contracted services.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including security, legal, dispute and league-record needs. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
You may adjust available profile/privacy settings and request access, correction, deletion or other applicable privacy rights through the Privacy Center. We may authenticate requests and retain information when legally permitted or required.
RCL Social is intended only for users age 16 and older. RCL uses date-of-birth information for age determination and age-appropriate access. A person identified as under 16 is not eligible for an RCL Social account. If RCL learns that an account holder is under 16, RCL may disable the account and take appropriate steps regarding the associated data.
We may update this policy as the platform changes. The effective date identifies the current version.
